We are a small business but we pride ourselves on our service and professionalism.  Unlike other dog walking/ pet sitting companies, we work in smaller areas which allows us to spend more time and provide better care for your pets.

We are lifelong pet owners, animal lovers, and experienced animal care providers who will help your pets maintain a normal routine in your home environment.

No Place Like Home is a Bonded, and Insured Company. We are members of the National Association of Professional Pet Sitters, Pet Sitters International and Certified in Pet First Aid and CPR.

At No Place Like Home you and your pet's happiness is our main concern. We provide daily leash-walks, in-home visits for your pet(s) in the comfort of their own home and many other services for your convenience.

The Owner

Hi my name is Danielle Taylor and I would like to thank you for taking the time and coming to our website.  I know how hard it can be to entrust a family member with a stranger, so I would like to take this time to better introduce myself and tell you a little bit about who I am.

I currently live in the Shippan area of Stamford CT by way of NYC and Scarsdale NY.  I share my house and my bed with my 3 dogs Yogi, Layla and Pebbles.  After many years in Management in the Trade Show and Health and Fitness Industries, as well as owning a small sporting goods store, I decided I wanted to start a business doing something that I was most passionate about and which would also allow me to spend more time with my own "kids".  While volunteering with a local animal rescue organization, I realized that pet care was where I wanted to be.  After having a few traumatic experiences with kenneling my dogs, not to mention how quickly the costs added up and how inconvenient it was, I decided to use a professional pet sitter to watch my dogs in my home.  That is where the idea for No Place Like Home was born.  From the experiences with my own dog walkers/ pet sitters, I came up with the plan for my own business.  The first and most important concern for me was to stay in small geographic areas so we would not be rushing from client to client.  This would allow us to give your pets the attention and care that they need and deserve.  I got into this business because of my love for animals and I want to make sure that we care for your pets as we would care for our own.

In my opinion there is absolutely nothing more fulfilling than the unconditional love that our pets provide and I feel truly blessed each and every day that I get to work in a field where I get to give so much love and get back so much more in return.
